Description

The funding program of the VINCI Foundation for Social Responsibility is aimed at non-profit organizations registered in Germany or Austria that implement social projects in disadvantaged urban neighborhoods. Initiatives that contribute in the long term to improving living conditions, social cohesion, and facilitating access to education, employment, and housing are supported. Eligible applicants are particularly associations and legal entities under non-profit law that carry out recognized projects with sustainable local impact. Projects are selected based on their neighborhood relevance, promotion of integration, and sustainable orientation. The funding amount per project ranges between €5,000 and €20,000, complemented by personal sponsorships and advisory services provided by committed VINCI employees.

Submissions are accepted at least twice a year on fixed dates, for example by 02/02/2026 for the selection process in Gelsenkirchen or by 12/09/2026 for the next nationwide session. A complete, fully completed funding application is the only required application document. After a preliminary selection by the management, the Foundation Board decides on the project funding and the amount of the grant upon recommendation of the Advisory Board. This structured selection process ensures that each supported initiative is purposefully assisted. The combination of financial support and project-related sponsorship creates a strong impetus for social integration and sustainable neighborhood development throughout Germany.
