Funding Project Downtown Consultation

The funding project City Center Consulting of the City of Rheinstetten, in cooperation with the Karlsruhe Chamber of Industry and Commerce (IHK), is aimed at inner-city stakeholders such as retailers, restaurateurs, and trade associations, as well as municipal departments from city marketing, economic development, and urban planning. Funded as a grant by the Ministry of Economic Affairs, Labour and Tourism Baden-Württemberg, the program aims to sustainably revitalize the town centers of Forchheim and Mörsch as well as the center of Rheinstetten. Through an ongoing consulting service, measures to strengthen regional infrastructure and business financing are developed and implemented. Participants benefit from expert knowledge in urban development and urban renewal and receive individual support in initiating joint projects. A prerequisite for funding is a location in Rheinstetten, the operation of a business as an inner-city retailer or restaurateur, as well as membership in a trade association or cooperation with the city administration.

Through networking events and cross-thematic workshops, a vibrant network is created that develops concepts for attractive shopping and experience spaces. The consulting also covers aspects of regional promotion and rural development to create synergies between supply, commerce, and the public sector. Participants receive practical support in designing window display checks, digital workshops, and other measures aimed at making the city center more attractive and future-proof. The program not only promotes the local economy but also strengthens the sense of community on site. Interested companies, interest groups, and public institutions can register for the project at any time and work together with experts to set new impulses for the Rheinstetten town centers.
