Funding Projects of the International Händel Festival Göttingen Foundation

The funding projects of the International Handel Festival Göttingen Foundation offer culture and music enthusiasts in Lower Saxony the opportunity to actively support high-caliber Baroque music. Each year, both foundation concerts and individual concert sponsorships are promoted within the framework of the International Handel Festival. Sponsorship is aimed at private individuals, companies, and foundations and is possible at any time. The funding is allocated to artist fees, technical and organizational costs, as well as venue rentals – all depending on the scope of the funding amount. Eligible for funding are all those who wish to support art and culture, especially music lovers and cultural patrons who want to make a direct contribution through concert sponsorships. A prerequisite for a grant is early contact with the foundation to coordinate the engagement as well as the submission of a cover letter or contact form. The project duration is twelve months, and the decision is made based on the cultural added value for the festival and the current availability of funds. The funding amount varies depending on the extent of the commitment and can be agreed upon individually. Applications are possible at any time to sustainably support the long-standing event series of the International Handel Festival Göttingen.
