Description

The Continuing Education Funding Guideline for Nursing (FoPfFöR) of the Bavarian State Ministry for Health, Care and Prevention supports providers of outpatient and inpatient care facilities according to § 71 SGB XI in Bavaria in sustainably strengthening the leadership skills as well as the resilience of managers and employees. Targeted training measures create conditions in which leaders and teams can expand their strategies in personnel management, conflict resolution, and stress management. The long-term goal is to ensure high-quality care and support in long-term care that takes into account both the everyday nursing practice and the mental health of the staff.

Grants of up to €5,000 are awarded for leadership training and up to €500 for resilience-enhancing measures. Only participant fees at certified providers (e.g., TÜV or equivalent institutions) are eligible for funding. A prerequisite is proof of professional necessity – for example, in cases of leadership changes or organizational restructuring – as well as the submission of an offer detailing content, duration, date, and costs. In addition, the participating managers or employees must be named and their areas of responsibility specified. Applications can be submitted at any time via the RZ SÜD form server. The continuously available funding offers care facilities a flexible opportunity to expand expertise and increase their staff’s job satisfaction.
