Description
The Free and Hanseatic City of Hamburg supports training companies with a flat-rate subsidy of €150 per month of training and a success bonus of €750 upon timely completion. The aim is to facilitate disadvantaged young people’s entry into vocational training within companies and thereby improve their long-term employment prospects. The funding offer is aimed at companies in Hamburg that provide training remuneration which is at most 10% below collectively agreed rates and where no prior completed initial vocational training exists. Publicly funded or partially funded providers as well as situations that are otherwise subsidized are excluded.
Funding is provided for trainees who are registered in Hamburg at the time of application and, for example, do not have a recognized school leaving certificate, have special educational needs, participate in abH/AsA programs, have insufficient German language skills, or bear responsibility for care and upbringing. To apply, among other documents, the training contract, a curriculum vitae, proof of the funding reason, and the application for registration of the training relationship in the register of vocational training relationships at the competent chamber are required. A final examination certificate or chamber confirmation must be submitted for the payment of the completion bonus. Since submissions are possible at any time, there is always the opportunity to report new training relationships and take advantage of attractive financial incentives.
