Funding Burgenland Forestry Association

The funding of the Burgenland Forestry Association supports non-profit interest groups in Burgenland in the realization of professional events and projects in the field of forestry. The goal is to strengthen professional exchange and further develop forestry competencies through conferences, excursions, and practice-oriented initiatives. The grant is exclusively aimed at registered associations and supports activities that have a clear connection to the regional forest and wood industry. As an instrument of rural development, the program contributes to sustainable management and climate protection in one of Austria's most forest-rich regions.

From January 1, 2026, applications can be submitted continuously until the funding volume is exhausted. A prerequisite is the implementation of relevant events or projects in Burgenland, planned by experts and utilized by participants to deepen knowledge and develop innovative solutions. The chosen type of funding – a non-repayable grant – allows targeted budget relief for the organization and implementation of professional formats. Through the support of new event formats, networks are created between practitioners, researchers, and decision-makers, which contribute to the long-term strengthening of regional forestry and provide impulses for climate-friendly forest use.
