Funding for Workshop Nature Bus Transfer

Funding for Workshop Nature Bus Transfer supports educational and childcare institutions in Burgenland with transportation costs for excursions to the Workshop Nature in Marz. Funding is provided for pupils and kindergarten children participating in nature education programs as part of training, further education, or childcare offerings. The special directive of the State of Burgenland reimburses 25% of the bus costs, thus enabling low-threshold access to practical learning opportunities in nature. Applications can be submitted indefinitely since January 1, 2023, to the Office of the Burgenland State Government.

Only costs for the bus transfer are eligible for funding; the invoice amount from the bus company is considered an eligible expense. Payment is made a few weeks after submission of the complete documentation. The prerequisite is that the childcare institution is based in Burgenland and that the completed application form of Workshop Nature is submitted. The original invoice from the bus company and the completed funding form must be provided as proof. This funding strengthens the mobility of young learners and simultaneously relieves educational institutions, enabling child-appropriate nature experiences and practice-oriented environmental education to be sustainably realized.
