Description

Support for outpatient assistance and civic engagement in care continuously supports non-profit organizations and public institutions in Baden-Württemberg that are committed to people with dementia and those in need of care. Grants are provided to support care groups, home care services, as well as family care and village assistance offerings. In addition, volunteer initiatives such as senior networks and care companion groups are supported to ensure needs-based care and relief for seniors requiring care and their relatives. The ongoing funding opportunity allows applicants flexible planning and implementation of new or expanded projects for outpatient care and strengthening civic engagement in the care sector.

Funding eligibility requires sponsorship by outpatient services and institutions of independent welfare organizations, churches and religious communities under public law, non-profit nursing associations, other non-profit organizations, or municipal authorities. The funding program thematically targets social issues, health, engagement for social cohesion and democracy, as well as labor & social affairs. The goal is to stabilize existing structures, initiate new local initiatives, and thereby strengthen the participation of people with dementia as well as those in need of care and assistance in their familiar living environment. By structuring the support as a grant, sustainable and innovative projects are enabled that contribute to relieving relatives and promoting social cohesion.
