Description
The state funding program "Support for Outpatient Assistance" of the Ministry of Social Affairs, Health and Integration Baden-Württemberg is aimed at non-profit organizations, associations, and public institutions within the state. The goal is to establish needs-based support and care structures in the preliminary and surrounding areas of care dependency. Through financial grants, services such as everyday support for seniors, self-help groups, senior and neighborhood networks, as well as village assistance projects are promoted. These measures relieve caregiving relatives, contribute to delaying or preventing care dependency, and ensure tailored assistance in acute need.
Eligible for funding are services and initiatives of independent welfare organizations, churches and religious communities under public law, other non-profit providers, as well as municipal authorities that disclose their service area and ensure appropriate continuing education and training for their staff. A prerequisite is the collection of reasonable fees or contributions and the billing of services through third parties. The amount of the grant is based on the type and scope of the measure. Applications can be submitted annually by September 30; for repeat applications, the deadline is April 30. The review is conducted by the responsible regional council, which coordinates the allocation in the interest of a comprehensive expansion of outpatient care support.
