Description
The Anna Magull Foundation at the Carl von Ossietzky University of Oldenburg supports students, graduates, and doctoral candidates in vocational and business education as well as business didactics with financial grants and scholarships. Based in Lower Saxony, the foundation continuously provides funds for research internships, doctoral projects, and various support expenses such as learning materials, specialized literature, publication projects, empirical bachelor’s and master’s theses, vocational education excursions, conference attendance, and study abroad. The aim is to strengthen competencies in business education and enable academic projects for which no sufficient alternative funding is available. The support is provided purely as a grant, thus no repayment obligation arises, provided the scholarship holders carry out their projects as planned.
Requirements for funding include demonstrably good academic performance in the fields of vocational and business education as well as business didactics and a declaration of the absence of third-party funding. Eligible to apply are participants in the two-subject bachelor’s program in economics (vocational education), the Master of Education in business education, and doctoral candidates in the respective fields, who submit proof of academic achievements, degree certificates, and, for doctoral projects, letters of endorsement from supervising professors. Evaluation is based on academic success and financial need.
