Funding of the ArsVersa Art Foundation

The ArsVersa Art Foundation, based in Freiburg, supports private individuals and non-profit organizations located in Baden-Württemberg who are engaged in the field of visual arts. Twice a year, inventive projects in painting, object art, and media-based image design are funded. With one-time grants of up to €5,000, the foundation enables the realization of unusual concepts and visionary projects that explore both traditional and experimental boundaries of artistic practice. An independent board selects the most compelling applications, thereby contributing to the artistic diversity of the region.

Professional artists and cultural practitioners may submit applications by February 28 and August 31 each year. A complete dossier is required, consisting of a cover letter with project description and requested funding amount, a detailed cost and financing plan, as well as a personal biography. Submissions are accepted easily as PDFs via email or by post to the foundation. Thanks to this clearly structured process, innovative initiatives receive a reliable funding perspective that creates space for creative development and benefits both emerging and established artists alike.
