The Aufrecht Foundation supports civil society initiatives, associations, and non-profit organizations nationwide that are engaged in the fields of environmental/nature conservation, animal protection, education, social cohesion/democracy, energy efficiency & climate protection, vocational training & further education, as well as labor & social affairs. Eligible to apply are all non-profit entities seeking to implement a clearly defined project aimed at improving coexistence between humans, animals, and the environment. Funding is provided as a one-time grant that contributes to the sustainable implementation of the projects. Funding applications can be submitted continuously by answering the 13 guiding questions regarding the organization and the project. This creates a structured insight into the goals, target groups, and desired impacts of the submitted ideas.
The funding objective includes measures in youth and elderly care, upbringing and education, health prevention, science and research, as well as nature, environmental, and animal protection that contribute to a livable environment and successful coexistence. Applicants must submit the completed questionnaire, a concise project description (maximum 2 pages), a detailed cost breakdown, and contact information. Selection is based on alignment with the foundation's purposes, sustainability and impact orientation, as well as clarity and completeness of the information provided.
