Description
The Free State of Bavaria specifically supports the integration of people with refugee and migration backgrounds into training and employment through a grant program. Funding is provided for professionals such as training recruiters for refugees and job coaches, who establish and implement demand-oriented services across the state. Non-profit organizations, companies, associations, or public institutions can receive a funding rate of up to 90% of eligible personnel expenses; material costs of up to 15% of these personnel costs are also eligible for funding. The measure targets asylum beneficiaries, recognized refugees, beneficiaries of subsidiary protection, as well as holders of a residence status pursuant to §§ 16 g, 24, or 25 (3) of the Residence Act (AufenthG). Asylum seekers with a good prospect of staying and tolerated persons with training or employment toleration also belong to the defined target group, as do individuals with integration barriers and secure residence rights.
For an application, a labor market policy statement from the Employment Agency in coordination with the Job Centers, a detailed cost plan for multiple positions, and at least one letter of support must be submitted with the initial application. Applications can be submitted continuously without a fixed deadline. The aim of the program is to increase the participation opportunities of the funded individuals through qualified recruiters and coaches and to establish sustainable contacts between companies and potential trainees or workers. In doing so, the Free State of Bavaria contributes to strengthening the regional labor market and to the successful social participation of people with refugee and migration backgrounds.
