Funding of the Autism Germany Foundation

The autismus Deutschland Foundation provides nationwide grants that can be accessed at any time to sustainably improve the quality of life of people with autism spectrum disorders and to alleviate individual emergencies. As a non-profit organization, it primarily supports projects for which no state funding is available. This includes targeted recreational activities as well as the acquisition of sports and play equipment, which are generally not financed from public funds. Additionally, the foundation promotes research projects that deepen the understanding of autism and develop innovative approaches.

Eligible to apply are private individuals, educational institutions, and non-profit organizations with appropriate proof of an autism diagnosis and evidence of the absence of state cost coverage. Expenses in the areas of health, social affairs, sports, as well as culture & media are funded. Applications can be submitted continuously and are reviewed promptly based on the funding criteria. The goal is to enable urgently needed assistance and advance scientific knowledge—for a direct positive impact on the daily lives of those affected and on the societal perception of autism.
