Funding by the Baden-Württemberg Foundation Education

The Baden-Württemberg Foundation Education Funding continuously supports innovative projects in Baden-Württemberg in the fields of education, research & innovation, as well as initial and continuing training. As a grant, it targets a broad spectrum of non-profit organizations, companies, start-ups, public institutions, private individuals, and foundations. Projects that explore new paths in the educational landscape, advance scientific knowledge, and invigorate social initiatives are funded. The foundation draws on capital of approximately 2.3 billion euros and allocates annual funds of 30 to 40 million euros to specifically support forward-looking ideas.

The program is aimed at individuals with visionary concepts as well as institutions and initiatives from society, science, business, and culture that wish to contribute to the sustainable shaping of a livable future. The goal is to open up opportunities, promote social cohesion, and strengthen democratic engagement. Through the continuous possibility to submit applications, project sponsors are encouraged to implement innovative projects flexibly and promptly. The Baden-Württemberg Stiftung gGmbH sees itself as an independent and non-partisan funding institution that sets impulses, connects experts, and engages in dialogue with local stakeholders to ensure a climate-oriented and future-proof development of the region.
