Description
Support for Needs-Based Holiday Care assists private and public providers in Tyrol with subsidies for personnel costs to care for school-age children during autumn, Christmas, semester, Easter, and summer holidays, as well as on other school-free days from Monday to Friday. The program aims to expand care services in municipalities lacking sufficient after-school care capacities in a needs-oriented manner, thereby sustainably strengthening the compatibility of work and family life.
Eligible for funding are natural and legal persons, companies, municipalities, municipal associations, as well as public law bodies that offer a holiday care program lasting at least two and at most twelve weeks, Monday to Friday from 7:30 a.m. to 2:00 p.m., including lunch. A prerequisite is the use of suitable school rooms or equivalent facilities, access for all school-age children with primary residence in the participating municipalities, and a staffing ratio that provides at least one person per eight children depending on group size. The funding includes a daily personnel cost subsidy of € 50 per caregiver (€ 60 with a compatibility bonus from eight weeks of care) as well as an additional € 10 per extra hour of care after 2:00 p.m. Funding applications must be submitted electronically no later than three weeks before the start of the measure (application period: 01.11.2022–31.08.2027). Allocation is based on the order of receipt and the availability of budget funds. The application must include a current criminal record extract, a concept of the measure, a declaration regarding requested or granted funding, and proof of the funding recipient in accordance with § 13 TKKG.
