Description

The project funding of the Bethe Foundation is aimed nationwide at non-profit organizations and public institutions engaged in one of the four funding priorities: children's hospices, child protection, culture of remembrance, and homeless assistance. The goal is to provide tangible relief to families with children suffering from life-limiting illnesses, to protect children and adolescents from neglect or abuse, to sensitize learners through visits to historical memorial sites in the spirit of culture of remembrance, and to support homeless and housing-insecure individuals with low-threshold services and structural measures. Special emphasis is placed on prevention, education, and the promotion of social processes that strengthen humanity and tolerance. The foundation honors sustainable concepts that contribute to the improvement of social coexistence and have a long-term impact.

Eligible for funding are exclusively organizations registered in Germany as non-profit entities or public institutions whose project proposals correspond to the defined funding priorities. Applications can be submitted continuously; there is no application deadline. Required for the application are, among others, the application form, donation matching information sheet, funding request, and a press statement. Funding is provided in the form of a grant. The foundation expects a clear description of the project objectives, target groups (families of seriously ill children, young people in child protection facilities, students for remembrance trips, and homeless/housing-insecure persons), as well as a transparent financing and implementation plan. The funding offers institutions the opportunity to realize effective projects and become part of an initiative for a more humane society.
