Description

The Episcopal Foundation "Help for Mother and Child" in North Rhine-Westphalia continuously supports non-profit organizations and public institutions that implement projects to assist women, children, single parents, and families in economic, social, or psychological distress. Funding is particularly provided for measures within the Diocese of Aachen that offer personal and professional counseling as well as immediate assistance. These include pregnancy counseling, psychosocial crisis and conflict counseling, services in women’s and children’s shelters, as well as social law and family planning information. Support is granted regardless of religion, nationality, or worldview and encompasses the thematic areas of social affairs, promotion of women, children and youth, counseling, and work & social services.

Through the awarding of grants, the foundation continuously supports projects that open up practical life perspectives and ensure sustainable local assistance. The goal is to convey new stability to strained family structures and to strengthen the independence of those involved. Applications can be submitted year-round; there is no application deadline. Interested organizations meet the requirements if they are active in the Diocese of Aachen and present concrete support measures for women, children, single parents, or families in need. This creates a multifaceted funding portfolio that accompanies those affected in all phases of life and sustainably strengthens social cohesion.
