Funding of the BJKS

The Education, Youth, Culture, and Sports Foundation Teltow-Fläming of the Mittelbrandenburgische Sparkasse supports non-profit projects in the Teltow-Fläming district. The aim of the funding is to support initiatives in the areas of education, social affairs, culture, sports, children and youth, as well as vocational training and further education. The focus is on strengthening social cohesion and regional development. Only organizations recognized as non-profit and headquartered in the district are eligible to benefit from the grants. The funding targets diverse initiatives that implement cultural and sporting activities, educational offers, or social projects locally, aiming for a sustainable contribution to regional identity formation and development.

Applications are submitted entirely digitally, allowing all relevant documents to be conveniently uploaded online. The funding criteria are based on alignment with the foundation’s purpose, proof of non-profit status, and completeness of the application documents. In addition to the fully completed funding application, essential documents such as the statutes, the tax exemption certificate, and a detailed cost and financing plan must be submitted. Funding applications can be submitted by March 15 for measures in the second half of the current year and by September 15 for projects in the first half of the following year – a procedure that is regularly offered on an ongoing basis.

The funding program is aimed at non-profit associations and organizations that seek to contribute to the educational, cultural, and sporting development of the region through their projects. The foundation awards grants in strict accordance with the statutory funding objectives, ensuring targeted and sustainable support.
