Funding by the BNP Paribas Foundation

The BNP Paribas Foundation supports nationwide non-profit projects in the areas of education, social cohesion and democracy, education for sustainable development, culture and media, as well as environmental and climate protection. With continuous funding opportunities, it particularly supports initiatives that provide children and young people with social disadvantages, refugee backgrounds, or disabilities access to educational and cultural offerings, strengthen their personal development, and simultaneously promote ecological responsibility. The goal is to remove barriers, establish equal opportunities, and achieve sustainable impact in local communities. The foundation places great importance on tailored project design, realistic cost planning, and long-term impact.

Eligible for funding are non-profit organizations, educational institutions, public bodies, interest groups, and associations based in Germany that have a direct connection to the aforementioned thematic areas. Applications can be submitted at any time based on the completed application form and funding guidelines. In the awarding process, the relevance to the foundation’s purpose, the sustainability of the project, and feasibility under the given conditions are evaluated. Project sponsors should have a non-profit or public status and demonstrate how their initiative fosters sustainable change processes. Through this, the BNP Paribas Foundation sets impulses for a fairer society and supports committed actors in realizing forward-looking projects.
