Support for the Bülent Ceylan for Children Foundation

The Bülent Ceylan for Children Foundation supports non-profit organizations and educational institutions throughout Germany that are committed to children and young people. Projects are funded in the areas of education and upbringing, sports, cultural participation, vocational training and further education, as well as democratic engagement and social cohesion. The foundation aims to open up new learning opportunities for young people, create health-promoting sports programs, and enable intercultural encounters. Special attention is given to initiatives that promote sustainable group experiences and impart a sense of self-efficacy to children. Financial resources are granted in the form of subsidies, with funding decisions continuously made by the board, advisory council, and management – there are no application deadlines.

Applicant organizations require an informal written submission including a detailed project description, the designation of the project sponsor, and a complete budget plan. A prerequisite for funding is recognition of non-profit status by the tax office; ongoing operational or administrative costs such as personnel expenses are excluded from funding. The primary evaluation criterion is alignment with the foundation’s purpose. The foundation recommends submitting documents by informal letter and looks forward to diverse initiatives that provide educational opportunities for children and young people, offer sports promotion, and build bridges between different cultures.
