Support for the Mayor Helmut Angl Foundation

The Bürgermeister Helmut Angl Foundation supports committed private individuals and people in need in Bavaria in accordance with § 53 AO, as well as young people and elderly persons who, due to special life circumstances, depend on financial or material assistance. Through ongoing grants in the form of monetary and in-kind contributions as well as advisory services, the foundation promotes social projects and services in the fields of child, youth, and elderly care. The goal is to alleviate acute hardship and to improve the quality of life within the community in the long term. Funding is provided as a grant and applies where public funds or other funding programs are insufficient.

Eligible to apply are private individuals from Bavaria who are considered needy within the meaning of § 53 AO. Projects and individual cases that correspond to the charitable and benevolent purposes of the foundation are supported. Applications can be submitted at any time; proof of need at the time of application submission must be provided. The decision on the grant is made by the foundation’s board after reviewing the documents and assessing the funding requirement. Through the continuous provision of funds, the foundation enables flexible support without a fixed funding period.
