Support for the Bad Säckingen Community Foundation

Since its founding in 2014, the Bad Säckingen Citizens' Foundation has supported social initiatives that strengthen the common good in the city and the Baden-Württemberg region. As a non-profit foundation under civil law, supported by the city of Bad Säckingen and Volksbank Rhein-Wehra eG, it focuses its funding on projects in the areas of commitment to social cohesion and democracy, regional development, work & social affairs, as well as agriculture & rural development. In particular, initiatives that provide cultural, social, or sustainable impulses for local community life are given consideration. Eligible for funding are non-profit organizations, interest groups, and associations, as well as public institutions and private individuals, provided the project serves the interests of the city and is implemented there.

Funding applications can be submitted at any time; there is no fixed deadline. The foundation grants financial subsidies, the amount of which depends on the individual needs of the project. In the evaluation, the relevance of the project for the citizens, as well as its sustainability and feasibility, are central. The decision is made based on these criteria by the foundation board and the advisory council. The goal is to achieve sustainable effects in Bad Säckingen and to support projects with long-term impact. Interested project sponsors based or active in Bad Säckingen are invited to review the funding requirements and apply for support with a meaningful application.
