Description
The Bürgerstiftung Bad Wurzach supports non-profit organizations, educational institutions, and initiatives in the Baden-Württemberg region with annual grants on 01.03 and 01.10. Eligible are projects that commit to the foundation’s statutory purposes in accordance with non-profit status and are implemented in Bad Wurzach. Particularly welcomed are initiatives driven by civic engagement, which are innovative and exemplary, achieve sustainable broad impact, and promote self-help. Funding areas include education, sports, children and youth, culture, science, environmental and nature conservation, health, social cohesion/democracy, vocational training and further education, culture & media, work & social affairs, research & innovation, as well as energy efficiency & climate protection. Commercial projects, ongoing personnel and operating costs of existing institutions, as well as party-political or denominational initiatives are not eligible for funding.
Applications must include a fully completed funding application, a detailed project description, a financing plan, and proof of non-profit status. The board’s decision is made twice a year based on clearly defined evaluation criteria: civic engagement, degree of innovation, sustainability, and promotion of self-help. Upon project completion, a report on the use of the approved funds must be submitted and the funding must be made visible in public relations. There is no legal entitlement to funding. Bürgerstiftung Bad Wurzach offers interested parties a brief written consultation in advance regarding basic eligibility for funding and looks forward to receiving diverse applications to strengthen the common good in Bad Wurzach.
