Funding of the Bovenden Community Foundation (Project Funding)

The Bürgerstiftung Bovenden supports committed initiatives and projects in all districts of the municipality of Bovenden through its ongoing project funding program. Projects are funded in the areas of children and youth, sports, education, culture, social affairs, environmental and nature conservation, as well as vocational training and further education. Exemplary, forward-looking, and sustainable approaches that initiate new developments and provide help for self-help are sought. Special attention is given to intergenerational cooperation, the inclusion of minorities and disadvantaged individuals, as well as projects predominantly carried out by volunteer members. Imaginative and creative concepts that demonstrate initiative and personal responsibility have a good chance of receiving funding.

Eligible for funding are private individuals, interest groups, non-profit associations, and educational institutions with project locations in the municipality of Bovenden. A completed funding application and adherence to the funding principles form the basis for the application process, which is possible at any time. All submissions are evaluated based on clearly defined criteria such as sustainability, innovation, social added value, and voluntary commitment. Upon receipt of the application, the foundation’s board team contacts the applicants to discuss the next steps. This transparent procedure ensures a prompt review and promotes exchange between the Bürgerstiftung and the local project sponsors. In doing so, the Bürgerstiftung Bovenden makes a valuable contribution to strengthening cohesion and quality of life in the region.
