Funding of the Bürgerstiftung Durbach (Project Funding / Funding Application)

The Citizens' Foundation Durbach awards financial grants as part of its ongoing project funding to strengthen civic engagement in the municipality of Durbach (Baden-Württemberg). Initiatives and activities by private individuals, non-profit organizations, as well as interest and sports clubs are supported across a wide range of fields such as youth and elderly care, welfare, culture & media, music, sports, environmental and nature conservation, building and monument preservation, landscape and local heritage maintenance, as well as cross-border municipal partnerships. The goal is to implement sustainable projects that invigorate the common good and contribute to a free, tolerant society as well as regional identity. Projects distinguished by high relevance to the target groups, feasibility, and a clear connection to the common good in Durbach will be given preferential consideration.

Interested citizens and clubs may submit an informal written or electronic application at any time. A demonstrable commitment to the municipality as well as a meaningful project description including details of the planned undertaking are prerequisites. The foundation’s selection is guided by criteria such as sustainability, feasibility, and societal added value. The form of funding granted is a one-time subsidy, the amount of which is determined on a project basis. The following documents are required for the application: an informal funding request, a detailed project description, and all relevant information about the planned project.
