Funding of the Geiselberg Citizens' Foundation (Project & Funding Applications)

The Geiselberg Citizens' Foundation supports a wide range of community-oriented initiatives in the local municipality of Geiselberg (Rhineland-Palatinate) with unlimited grants. In particular, projects in the funding areas of environmental and nature conservation, social affairs, culture, regional development, agriculture, energy efficiency and climate protection, as well as labor and media, are considered. Applications can be submitted at any time, provided that transparent financial planning and a project-related focus on the common good are ensured. The foundation aims to create sustainable impulses for environmental and climate protection, enrich cultural coexistence, and significantly strengthen rural development processes.

Eligible for funding are non-profit organizations, interest groups, associations, private individuals, and public institutions based in Geiselberg. Applicants must submit a completed funding application along with quotations for project costs, detailed financing plans, proof of use after implementation, and – for corporations – a current exemption certificate. Submission is informal with the corresponding documents; application forms are available for download on the Citizens' Foundation website. After successful review by the foundation board, a decision on approval will be made. Through this continuous awarding, committed actors are empowered to realize innovative projects and sustainably improve the quality of life in Geiselberg.
