Support for the Kammerstein Community Foundation

The Kammerstein Community Foundation supports non-profit projects and initiatives throughout the entire municipality of Kammerstein with a continuously open grant program. The objective is to strengthen social cohesion as well as to promote civic and voluntary engagement in Bavaria. Funding is provided, among other things, for initiatives in the areas of social affairs, education, culture, environmental/nature conservation, climate protection, and projects for children and youth. Eligible to apply are non-profit organizations, associations, initiatives, interest groups, and public institutions, as well as companies and private individuals, provided that the project serves the common good in Kammerstein and complies with the foundation’s statutes. The focus is on the contribution to human interaction within the community: the emphasis on sustainable, locally rooted initiatives ensures a tangible impact on site.

Submissions can be made flexibly through a non-binding funding inquiry or via a detailed PDF application. Essential documents include a completed grant application, a concise project description, a timeline and financing plan, as well as bank details; optionally, a detailed presentation (maximum two pages) may be attached. Key evaluation criteria include the feasibility of the project, the added value for the common good, and civic engagement. There is no application deadline, allowing project sponsors to submit their ideas at any time. The foundation’s board carefully reviews each submission and decides on the allocation of funds in accordance with the statutes. Collaborative initiatives thus benefit easily from financial support to help shape a diverse, solidaristic community in Kammerstein.
