Funding of the Bürgerstiftung Lörrach (general funding application)

The Bürgerstiftung Lörrach provides financial resources throughout the year in the form of grants for a variety of charitable projects in the Lörrach district. The goal is to strengthen education, child and youth support, culture, environmental and nature conservation, integration, monument preservation, urban development, as well as voluntary engagement to promote social cohesion and democracy. Initiatives, associations, interest groups, and public institutions that pursue a clear social or ecological focus and whose headquarters or project location are in the Lörrach district are eligible for funding. Eligible expenses include personnel costs, material, and equipment expenses. Continuous submission opportunities allow spontaneous support for new project ideas without fixed deadlines.

For the application, the submission of a completed funding application, a detailed project description, and a financing plan is required. All documents can be downloaded as PDFs and submitted either by traditional mail or directly at the foundation office in Stetten. PhD holders or full-time staff communicate the application through the office, whereas individuals and smaller groups are supported via postal submission. The decision is made based on the alignment with the foundation's purpose and the availability of funds. Through close networking with local stakeholders, the Bürgerstiftung contributes to creating sustainable impulses for education, culture, and social participation and effectively implementing innovative project ideas.
