Description

Based in North Rhine-Westphalia, the Burg-Steinfurt Foundation is dedicated to projects in the Steinfurt district that open up new learning and development opportunities for children and young people. The focus is on both school-based and extracurricular educational initiatives as well as measures in child and youth welfare. Carriers of non-profit associations, educational institutions, or initiatives can continuously submit applications for grants and thus realize innovative projects in the fields of culture, sports, social affairs, media, or agriculture & rural development. Through regional anchoring, not only individual measures but the entire infrastructure of child and youth promotion in the region is sustainably strengthened.

Only non-profit organizations and educational institutions with headquarters and project locations in the Steinfurt district are eligible for funding, whose projects have a clearly defined focus on child and youth welfare or the educational sector. Support is provided as a one-time grant without participation in project costs outside the funding purpose. Submissions can be made at any time, as there are no fixed deadlines. Through continuous allocation, flexible planning and implementation of language courses, mentoring programs, cultural workshops, or inclusive sports offerings are possible. The foundation places special emphasis on sustainable impact and the promotion of participation, so that young people benefit from the provided funds in the long term.
