Description

Since its founding, the Christoph and Katja Kummetat Foundation has supported non-profit initiatives, educational institutions, projects, and individuals in Germany, with a special focus on Frankfurt am Main and the surrounding area. As a civil law recognized foundation, it continuously funds initiatives in the fields of youth welfare, education, animal protection, and aid for people in need within the meaning of § 53 AO. Applicants may submit a grant application at any time and benefit from a straightforward procedure without fixed deadlines.

Both organizations and private individuals who make sustainable social or ecological contributions are supported – from committed associations to schools and training centers to innovative individual projects. Particularly welcome are initiatives that open up new development opportunities for children and young people, provide concrete support to animals in need, or empower people in need. The foundation places great value on long-term impact and selects funding projects based on their societal added value. A prerequisite for funding is a registered office in Germany; for non-profit corporations, recognition as a tax-privileged organization is required. This funding opportunity is equally aimed at experienced sponsors and forward-looking newcomers who wish to make a tangible contribution to the common good through their commitment.
