Funding of the con moto foundation (music education projects)

The con moto foundation supports music education initiatives throughout Germany that actively involve children and young people in creative mediation formats and test new approaches to music education. Funding is provided to non-profit organizations, educational institutions, and private individuals who submit a long-term, multi-year project concept. The goal is to sustainably strengthen the personality of young people through participatory formats and to inspire enthusiasm for culture, music, and social participation. The foundation places special emphasis on creative didactics, interactive learning environments, and the active involvement of the target group to promote social skills and individual expressive abilities.

Project proposals can be submitted at any time: a brief description of objectives is sufficient, with a detailed project description including a financial plan requested if necessary. Formal funding requirements include a clearly defined music education concept, a multi-year timeframe, and the active involvement of children and young people. Selection is based on the criteria of innovation in methodology, long-term concept approach, and participation of the target group. The con moto foundation funds projects in the fields of culture, music, children and youth, education, as well as training and further education. A binding funding commitment is only made following a written decision by the board. Initiators of music education projects seeking to achieve sustainable impact thus receive a reliable partnership for the realization of their vision.
