Description
The CORDES & GRAEFE Foundation supports nationwide non-profit projects and initiatives in diverse fields such as science, research, education, environmental and nature conservation, as well as climate protection. This initiative is aimed at organizations that create sustainable societal value through their commitment. In particular, projects are supported where public funding is not applicable or where supplementary funding is required. By providing grants, non-profit organizations are enabled to advance innovative approaches in research and education that simultaneously promote the protection and care of nature and landscapes.
The foundation places special emphasis on a transparent and comprehensive application process. Interested organizations may submit their funding applications continuously via email, with a fully completed application form including a detailed project description and a comprehensible financial plan being mandatory. Additional documents such as the latest income tax return, activity report, and exemption certificate must be attached as proof. The evaluation is based, among other criteria, on the completeness of the application documents, compliance with the established funding criteria, and the quality of the project description. A regularly convening advisory board reviews the selected applications to decide on the grants.
By funding projects anchored in the fields of general and vocational education, initial and continuing training, as well as nature and climate protection, the foundation makes an important contribution to societal development. The funding encompasses not only the traditional areas of science and research but also charitable purposes, thereby addressing social aspects and societal challenges. Organizations that make a sustainable contribution to the advancement of their respective fields of work can thus benefit from this support. At the same time, the foundation’s continuous funding practice strengthens innovation and progress in areas crucial to the future viability of society and the environment.
