Support for Diakonie Libera (Donations and Funding for Projects/Institutions)

Diakonie Libera continuously awards grants in Brandenburg and Saxony to support non-profit organizations, foundations, and public institutions. The aim is to finance and further develop specific projects in diaconal institutions such as the Helen Keller House, the Laurentius House, the Rosengarten House, the Lindenblüte Daycare, or the Noah's Ark. A wide range of thematic areas are supported, including child and youth welfare, senior care, participation for people with disabilities, health, infrastructure, social affairs, as well as commitment to social cohesion and democracy. Applications can be submitted at any time, ensuring continuous planning and implementation of measures.

The provided funds are intended to cover investments and ongoing costs to sustainably improve quality of life, participation, and care. Examples include the redesign of corridors as orientation aids in the Helen Keller House, dementia care in the Laurentius House, Kneipp treatments in the Rosengarten House, nature-oriented playground concepts in the Lindenblüte Daycare, or community gardens in Noah's Ark. Facilities engaged in the care, support, and inclusion of children, youth, elderly people, and persons with disabilities are sought. By supporting these projects, the funding contributes to the needs-based expansion of diaconal services and strengthens social participation in rural areas.
