Description

The project funding of the Dr. Bergmann Foundation is aimed at non-profit organizations and public institutions in Germany that are dedicated to personal development, cultural education, or crisis management. The foundation's goal is to strengthen children, adolescents, and other target groups in their personal and social development, support preventive measures, and transform life crises into sustainable opportunities. The foundation places importance on a balanced allocation of its funds and annually supports projects with up to 2,000 euros, in individual cases up to 3,000 euros.

Eligible for funding are corporations based in Germany that are recognized as tax-privileged, non-profit institutions or public law entities and implement projects in the specified thematic areas. Infrastructure measures, ongoing operating costs, and association work are excluded. Applications can be submitted informally by e-mail and are reviewed at the end of each quarter. Selection is based on clearly defined criteria: alignment with the funding areas, ratio of the requested amount to total costs, complementary effect to other financing, as well as the need and relevance of the project. For the application, a project description with objectives, a timeline and financing plan, as well as proof of non-profit status must be submitted. Feedback is provided exclusively to projects with realistic prospects of success.
