Support for the Dreißig Foundation – Future for Children

The Dreißig Foundation – Future for Children is committed to enabling projects for children and young people with special needs and challenging life situations in Brandenburg and Saxony. Non-profit organizations, interest groups, other associations, public institutions, and private individuals can submit a grant application informally at any time. The goal is to support initiatives that would not be feasible on their own and that align with the foundation’s objectives: promotion of education, social services, vocational training and further education, as well as regional development in rural areas. The foundation particularly funds measures that have direct effects on the upbringing, learning, and social participation of young people, placing great emphasis on sustainability and transparent use of funds.

For a funding commitment, applicants must demonstrate that their headquarters or main activity focus is in Brandenburg or Saxony and submit detailed project documentation. Required are a project outline with clearly defined goals, information on the planned timeframe, responsible persons and participants, the specific financial requirements, and any previous funding received. A declaration of consent to the funding principles as well as documentation of the use of granted funds complete the formal requirements. Since selection is at the discretion of the foundation’s governing bodies, there is no legal entitlement to approval. Interested project sponsors are invited to present their ideas in a straightforward manner to jointly contribute with the foundation to the well-being and participation of young people in the region.
