Description

The Dumeklemmer Foundation Ratingen continuously supports charitable engagement in North Rhine-Westphalia, with a focus on the city of Ratingen. As a community foundation, it brings together companies, initiatives, and social institutions to support projects in the areas of social cohesion, democracy, social affairs, education, culture, agriculture, and rural development. Grants are awarded from a permanent capital fund to benefit nonprofit initiatives serving the common good. The emphasis is on innovative ideas that strengthen community togetherness and create sustainable impulses in the regional environment.

Eligible for funding are nonprofit organizations, interest groups, associations, public institutions, companies, as well as private individuals active in Ratingen who wish to implement a social, cultural, or educational project. A prerequisite for funding is that the project is located in Ratingen. Applications are accepted continuously and evaluated based on the following criteria: contribution to the common good, sustainability and continuity of engagement, and the involvement of the Ratingen community. Through close cooperation with local partners, a trustful network is created that promotes participation and motivates citizens to become actively involved.
