Description
The Ebisch Foundation continuously awards grants to non-profit organizations and public institutions throughout Germany that are engaged in the fields of education, vocational and further training, youth and elderly care, as well as public health. The focus is particularly on measures for infection prevention and the control of communicable diseases. Projects that promote education, general and vocational training including student assistance, thereby opening up new perspectives for young people, are supported. At the same time, the foundation supports initiatives to enhance the quality of life for older generations and funds endeavors that remove barriers for persons with disabilities and impairments. The funds provided aim to create sustainable structures in the long term to improve social participation and equal opportunities.
Interested organizations and institutions can apply for financial support for a wide range of projects that align with the foundation’s statutory purpose. These include, among others, projects for disaster relief, youth protection measures, as well as programs for the integration and inclusion of disadvantaged groups. The foundation operates as a trust foundation and channels the raised funds specifically to tax-privileged corporations and public-law entities. In this way, it not only promotes short-term engagement but also strengthens social cohesion in the long term. Applications are reviewed without regard to origin or denomination to provide all initiatives with an equal opportunity for funding.
