Description

Funding Initiative for Children and Youth with Disabilities in NRW
Since 2010, the Edith and Martin Guse Foundation has pursued the goal of enabling young people with physical, mental, or social impairments to achieve greater participation and joy in life. In North Rhine-Westphalia, individuals, non-profit organizations, and public institutions are supported. Funding is provided for medical aids, sports equipment, animal-assisted therapies, as well as inclusion projects, among others. The funds come exclusively from the foundation’s assets and flow directly into projects in need. The jury places special emphasis on the degree of need, the suitability of the project idea, and the potential to strengthen participation and self-determination.

Funding Modalities and Application Requirements
Applications can be submitted year-round. A prerequisite is proof of financial or familial disadvantage as well as a detailed project description.
