Funding of the Elfriede Eilers Foundation

The Elfriede Eilers Foundation has been supporting non-profit initiatives in North Rhine-Westphalia for many years with financial grants for projects in the areas of social affairs, children and youth, seniors, education, as well as participation and anti-discrimination. The focus is on promoting vocational training and further education, media literacy, and commitment to social cohesion and democracy. Recipients can receive grants for material costs, fees for course instructors, as well as equipment and materials. Only legal entities under public law and non-profit associations or organizations are eligible for funding. A demonstrably non-profit status and the arrangement of a personal consultation with the foundation’s board are prerequisites. Applications can be submitted year-round by individual arrangement; a meaningful project description, a detailed financial plan, and the valid articles of association are required for submission. The advisory board reviews the eligibility for funding in light of the foundation’s purpose and decides promptly on the allocation of funds.
