Description

The Hucke Family Children and Youth Foundation supports non-profit organizations, public institutions, and private individuals with funding projects for young people in Eichsfeld/Thuringia and the Uckermark/Brandenburg. The focus is on youth welfare measures, educational support, cultural and monument preservation mediation, as well as mass sports offerings. Particularly disadvantaged children and adolescents benefit from targeted educational assistance, workshops on monument preservation topics, remedial teaching, and sports initiatives. Through the provision of financial grants, the foundation enables equal participation regardless of social or economic background and thus sustainably promotes the personal and cultural development of young people.

Applications for funds can be submitted continuously and are exclusively aimed at projects with demonstrated eligibility for funding within the regional funding area. Basic requirements include a detailed project description, a comprehensive financing plan, and proof of the applicant’s non-profit status. The foundation seeks long-term effectiveness of the funding and reviews applications considering regional needs and the viability of the concept. Interested project initiators thus have the opportunity to implement innovative educational and sports projects as well as realize cultural mediation offerings for children and youth.
