Description
Funding by the Fasel Foundation is aimed at non-profit actors in North Rhine-Westphalia who are committed to international understanding, social charity, or the promotion of the social market economy. In particular, schools and youth groups organizing exchange projects with partners from European and non-European regions are supported. The funding focus is complemented by non-profit social and charitable initiatives as well as by initiators who have distinguished themselves through their commitment to the idea of the social market economy. In all three funding priorities, the goal is to overcome divisions, strengthen solidarity, and promote the principle of a market economy with social responsibility.
Upon approved application, travel and accommodation costs are funded with a grant amount of up to 10,000 euros. Applications can be submitted continuously and require an informal letter via email as well as a detailed project description. The award criteria include the contribution to international understanding or the charitable statutory purpose and alignment with the foundation’s objectives. All documents can be submitted at any time. There are no restrictions on specific application deadlines, allowing projects to be implemented flexibly and precisely.
