Funding of the Finke Foundation

The Finke Foundation, based in North Rhine-Westphalia, supports nonprofit organizations, interest groups, associations, and public institutions throughout the year within the municipality of Kalletal. It is committed to strengthening education, science, and culture in elderly care, thereby promoting the well-being of older people. Funding is provided, among others, for projects in the areas of training and further education of future professionals in the social sector, continuing education for staff and volunteers in senior facilities, as well as initiatives that enable cultural participation or investigate scientific questions regarding living conditions in old age. Grants are awarded in the form of project-specific subsidies, with a focus on the rural area of Kalletal.

Interested institutions and associations may submit funding applications at any time, provided the location of their project is within the municipality of Kalletal. The Finke Foundation places special emphasis on inclusive, intergenerational concepts that contribute to social cohesion. In addition to traditional training measures, it supports cultural events, research projects, and innovative models of voluntary engagement. Through this comprehensive support, both seniors and active participants in social institutions are addressed. Funding applications are accepted without deadlines and are continuously reviewed by the Foundation’s advisory board.
