Description

The Frank Basten Foundation supports projects nationwide that promote knowledge transfer, consulting, and awareness in the fields of digitalization, artificial intelligence, as well as alternative lifestyles and work environments. With the aim of strengthening social inclusion and equal opportunities, initiatives are supported that specifically target people from disadvantaged social groups. The foundation is aimed at non-profit organizations seeking to implement innovative ideas in the areas of education, social affairs, and vocational & further training. Through financial grants and targeted consulting, projects pursuing an innovative approach are intended to make a significant contribution to sustainable development and social networking. The focus is on imparting digital know-how as well as promoting alternative living and housing forms to address the challenges of the modern working world.

There is no fixed deadline for applications – project ideas/sketches are accepted on an ongoing basis. The application requires a detailed project description, including project objectives, target groups, a rough timeline, and the financial framework. Proof of non-profit status is also an important evaluation criterion, alongside alignment with the foundation’s purpose, effectiveness, innovative character, sustainability, and the project’s capacity for inclusion.
