Support for the Community Foundation "My Augsburg"

The community foundation “Mein Augsburg” is committed to social cohesion in Bavaria and supports a wide variety of nonprofit projects with the proceeds from its endowment. Supported are initiatives in the areas of democracy engagement, education, child and youth development, culture, social affairs, monument preservation, urban development, environmental and nature conservation, energy efficiency, as well as vocational training and further education. Eligible to apply are nonprofit organizations, associations, interest groups, educational institutions, public bodies, and also individuals whose projects strengthen civic engagement and sustainable development in Augsburg. The foundation can provide not only financial support but, where appropriate, also advisory and active operational assistance during implementation.

Funding applications can be submitted throughout the year, provided the project location is in Augsburg. Grants are awarded in the form of subsidies, which are flexibly adapted to the respective project. The community foundation “Mein Augsburg” places great value on transparent decision-making processes and close support of the funded projects. Through the uncomplicated submission process at any time, municipalities, schools, cultural institutions, and social organizations are invited to submit their ideas and actively help shape the future of the Fugger city together with experienced experts.
