Description
The GLS Bank Foundation supports nonprofit organizations nationwide in the implementation of socio-political initiatives that promote a human-centered monetary and financial system. Funded are projects that address the monetary transition, awareness-raising, or socio-ecological design, thereby contributing to social cohesion, democracy, as well as labor & social affairs. Funding is provided as a grant and is explicitly aimed at associations, nonprofit limited liability companies (gGmbH), foundations, and initiatives whose statutes include a focus on social engagement. Due to the ongoing submission possibility, applications can be submitted online at any time, with the project title clearly indicating that the funding is from the GLS Bank Foundation.
A prerequisite for application is a nonprofit legal form (e.g., registered association (e.V.), gGmbH, foundation) as well as a valid tax exemption certificate. Project ideas are evaluated based on their contribution to social development, their degree of innovation, sustainable orientation, and a coherent evaluation concept. The application must include a detailed budget plan, statutes, excerpt from the register, and tax exemption certificate. Target groups are socio-politically interested stakeholders who, together with the applicants, wish to set forward-looking impulses for a fair financial system. The GLS Bank Foundation warmly invites applicants to present their project ideas and thus actively participate in a solidarity-based and sustainable economy.
