Description
The Goldbeck Foundation supports tax-privileged institutions and organizations nationwide that are engaged in the fields of science & research, art & culture, education & youth welfare, as well as environmental, climate, and animal protection. A special focus is placed on projects that promote sustainable and equitable education and empower young people with limited support experience or outstanding potential. Applications can be submitted continuously, allowing the foundation to make timely decisions regarding the awarding of grants. Regional relevance to East Westphalia-Lippe (OWL) is also valued, as is a sustainable orientation in the sense of charitable, benevolent, or church-related purposes.
A prerequisite for funding is the alignment of the project objectives with the foundation’s purposes as well as a valid exemption notice authorizing the issuance of donation receipts. In addition, applicants must issue a donation receipt and provide a formal report of use upon completion of the funding. The foundation selects projects that, in addition to their substantive relevance, have a particularly high impact on young target groups and generate regional impulses. A standardized application form facilitates submission – alternatively, the application can be sent via email. Decisions are made based on the funding criteria of “sustainable education,” “equal opportunities,” “alignment with foundation purposes,” and regional relevance.
