Description

The Ministry of Agriculture and Food, Environment and Consumer Protection supports non-profit associations, NGOs, public institutions, and other legal entities located in the state of Brandenburg in measures to strengthen cross-border professional contacts in the fields of agriculture, rural development, environmental and nature conservation, as well as consumer protection. Funded activities include specialist workshops, expert excursions, professional conferences, and multilingual publications with a focus on cooperation between Brandenburg, Poland, and other Central and Eastern European partners. Participants from Brandenburg are an integral part of the projects, which contribute to intensifying political, professional, and economic partnerships and networking the Brandenburg-Poland border region.

The funding is provided as a partial grant ranging from 5,000 to 15,000 euros, covering up to 80% of eligible expenses. Eligible costs include personnel costs, material costs (including participant-related accommodation expenses), fees (for speakers, interpreters, translators), as well as expenses for public relations. The prerequisite is that the project has not yet started or been completed, does not constitute an annually recurring measure, aligns with political priorities, and ensures proper management. Own or third-party funds do not need to be sufficiently available; non-cash contributions are not accepted as own contributions. Applications can be submitted continuously until funds are exhausted, provided that funding is available at the time of application.
