Description
The funding program “Support for Healthcare Professions (Guideline Healthcare Professions)” aims to assist healthcare professionals in Saxony through targeted grants for investments in professional equipment, further education, and qualification measures. Both self-employed and employed specialists such as physiotherapists, midwives, podiatrists, and other therapeutic or nursing professional groups can continuously submit applications via the Saxon Development Bank – Förderbank – (SAB). A prerequisite for approval is registration or headquarters in Saxony as well as the practice of a recognized healthcare profession. The funding amount and conditions are based on the provisions of the Healthcare Professions Guideline (PDF) and the Healthcare Professions Billing Documents (PDF), which applicants must include as part of the complete application documentation.
As a grant program, the SAB supports measures that contribute to ensuring comprehensive and quality-assured healthcare provision in the Free State. In addition to the acquisition or modernization of technical equipment, certificate courses and part-time professional training can also be co-financed through the program. The funding is available to private individuals, companies, non-profit organizations, as well as public institutions. Interested professionals can obtain all necessary information regarding the application process and formal and substantive requirements directly from the SAB. Since applications can be submitted throughout the year, the program offers flexible planning security for therapeutic practices and institutions in the healthcare sector.
