Description

The Hermann and Bertl Müller Foundation is committed to the public welfare of the city of Hof and supports diverse projects in Bavaria that focus equally on art and culture, monument preservation, urban beautification, animal protection, and the preservation of the cultural heritage of the former district of Asch. Purpose-bound grants are provided for initiatives that have not yet commenced and demonstrably contribute to the enhancement of urban space. Eligible thematic areas also include infrastructural measures in urban development, energy-efficient projects, and climate-friendly initiatives. Special emphasis is placed on the restoration of historic buildings, museum expansions – such as at the Bavarian Vogtland Museum – as well as innovative art and media projects that sustainably revitalize cultural life in Hof. The foundation operates continuously and allows ongoing submissions without fixed deadlines to grant committed stakeholders flexible planning security.

Interested non-profit organizations, public institutions, associations, foundations, and individuals may submit their project ideas at any time via a completed application form. A prerequisite for approval is a current certificate of non-profit status issued by the tax office and proof that the project has not yet started. Upon positive decision, a funding confirmation is issued documenting the appropriate use of funds. Applicants commit to acknowledging the funding in all publications and promotional materials. Through transparent accounting and reporting, the foundation contributes to creating sustainable impulses for culture, monument protection, urban design, and animal protection in Hof, thereby securing the region’s heritage in the long term.
